Gorakhnath Mandir is the one of the oldest Hindu Temple of Guru Gorakhnath Who was Maha Yogi and Saint of Ancient India. Right now Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is the Heat Priest or Mahant of Gorakhnath Mandir Gorakhpur. 

A News portal named The Wire Journalist and Senior Editor Arfa Khanum Sherwani spreading fake History of Gorakhnath Temple. According to Arfa Khanum Sherwani, Land on which Gorakhnath temple (Yogi Adityanath is its Mahant or Head Priest) stands was granted by a Muslim ruler, Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula of Awadh. He granted land to this Imambada too. 

According To Indian History and evidence of Archeological Survey Of India, Gorakhnath Temple of Gorakhpur UP is 800 year old temple. Means Gorakhnath Temple was built over 500 years before birth of Nawab Asaf Ud Daula of Awadh. It means Wire journalist Arfa Khanum Sherwani was wrong and gave fake news on Gorakhnath Mandir. 

This Nawab Asaf Ud Daula was born at 23 September 1748 and expired At 1797. So How he could granted land for Gorakhnath Temple to Hindus and Yogis? 

According to Real History of Gorakhnath Mandir, It was ancient holy place of Guru Gorakhnath who was Maha Yogi. The Gorakhnath Temple first built in near 1200 AD. Adter some years, Alauddin Khilji Destroyed Gorakhnath Temple at 14 th century. After reconstruction of Gorakhnath Mandir by Hindus, Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb destroyed Gorakhnath Temple 2 times at 16th or 17th Century. These incidents were happening before birth of Nawab Asaf Ud Daula. 

This History of Gorakhnath Temple and facts is showing us that liberals are spreading and changing our History for running their agendas.
