Longest Lunar Eclipse of the Century Is Coming
27-28 जुलाई को सदी का सबसे बड़ा चंद्र ग्रहण लगने जा रहा है. यह काफी लंबा चंद्र ग्रहण भी है.
ग्रहण का सूतक लगने से पूर्व गुरु पूर्णिमा का पर्व मनाया जाना श्रेष्ठ है. इसका प्रभाव दक्षिण अमेरिका, अफ्रीका,
पश्चिम एशिया, आस्ट्रेलिया, यूरोप और भारत में अधिक दिखेने को मिलेगा.
27 जुलाई को भारतीय समय अनुसार रात 11:55 पर शुरू होगा. इस दौरान धरती पर चंद्र ग्रहण का प्रभाव शुरू हो जाएगा.
ये ग्रहण 28 जुलाई की रात 1 बजे तक रहेगा. इस चंद्र ग्रहण की छाया पूरी तरह रात 3 बजकर 49 मिनट पर खत्म होगी.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind Earth
and into its shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth,
and the Moon are aligned (in syzygy) exactly or very closely so,
with the planet in between. Hence, a lunar eclipse can occur only on the night
of a full moon. The type and length of an eclipse depend on the Moon's proximity
to either node of its orbit.
A total lunar eclipse will occur on July 27, 2018. The Moon will pass through the
centre of the Earth's shadow. This will be the first central lunar eclipse
