This majestic Vigraha of Vishnu as Keshava is from Hoyasala period(~12th century CE). See the fantastic details of Makara-Torana(here pointed arch, used with same proportion in numerous Deccani buildings). It was carved by sculptor Dasoja of Balligrame. Now displayed at MET.

The fantastic thing is to observe the magnanimity of the Hoysala kings and queens who allowed the immensely talented sculptors to leave their signature on their works. Here the signature of Dasoja could be seen at the bottom.

This would make it over 28,450 years old today, and about 23,300 years older than the legendary Hindu Kurukshetra war.@GlobalSanatan @ChakraNews @TrueIndology@Hinduis98061666 @HLKodo @Ethirajans @vedicmc @sgurumurthyhttps://t.co/aUxhBp0IIu
