The Times of India Published on Aug 23, 2018 Hebbatkere, a small village in Karnataka, had around 90-100 homes which were washed away due to floods and landslides. The number of people missing from Hebbatkere village after the natural disaster is yet to be ascertained and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is searching for all the missing people. One of the eyewitness of the tragedy said that she and her family members survived by taking refuge on the terrace, as rocks fell down on their village after floods triggered landslide.

But sometimes it happens that due to the work or because of some reason we can not keep fast. Let us know from Acharya Ajay Dwivedi that if in Navaratri What can we do if we can not fast, so that we can attain virtue in these special days. नवरात्रि पर देवी पूजन और नौ दिन के व्रत का बहुत महत्व है. मां दुर्गा के नौ रूपों की अराधना का पावन पर्व शुरू हो रहा है.लेकिन कईं बार ऐसा भी होता है की काम काज के चलते या फिर किसी कारण वश हम व्रत नहीं रख पाते|आइये आचार्य अजय द्विवेदी जी से जानते हैं की यदि नवरात्रि में हम व्रत न रख पायें तो क्या करें जिससे हमे इन विशेष दिनों में पुण्य की प्राप्ति हो|
