जम्मू-कश्मीर में नवरात्र से पहले आतंकियों ने बड़े आतंकी आक्रमणों को कार्यान्वयन का प्रयास किया। नवरात्रारंभ से पूर्व दिवस आतंकियों ने रामबन में एक परिवार को बंधक बना लिया
सुरक्षा बलों ने घर में फंसे लोगों को छुड़ा लिया है और तीन आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया. वहीं श्रीनगर में आतंकियों ने CRPF के जवानों पर ग्रेनेड से आक्रमण किया.. आक्रमण में किसी जवान के घायल होने का समाचार नहीं है.
